Turtle Earrings

While the technology to connect with people all over the world virtually is growing every day, it is important that we understand that without the personal touch and connection provided in real life, we are headed down a very lonely path. That’s why we at Jewelry by DeCory work so hard to create pieces of jewelry that are made by hand, locally, in our downtown Rapid City, SD studio. We know that the key to keeping the Lakota traditions and culture alive is to share the stories with future generations, and we believe that sharing an important story with each piece we make, like the turtle, helps build that connection to the past and to other people, so many are longing for today. We hope wearing one of our turtle pieces can remind others of these important truths.
